Wholehearted Yoga: The Art of Self-Discovery

The way the body twists and curves within asanas, the physical postures of yoga, is an art form in itself. But asana is just one limb of yoga. House of Yoga founder, owner and teacher Jackie Dahlheimer, along with her fellow teachers, are committed to serving the community all aspects of the ancient practice.

House of Yoga offers not only daily asana classes, but workshops covering topics from meditation and astrology to breath work and mantra. This summer, Dahlheimer and 500-hour RYT Jessie Davies will lead a 200-hour immersive yoga teacher training focusing on not only the physical practice, but connection and transformation of the self in order to effect positive change in and inspire the community around us.

At House of Yoga, the journey of self-discovery is yoga’s truest art form. Dahlheimer says, “Yoga is a dance — poetry. It’s a piece of art. It’s in the study of the self that we find our truest masterpiece: the authentic being, fully expressed.”
