When imagining a yoga teacher training, one might envision hours of physical practice and learning all the intricacies of poses. Concepts such as anatomy and student safety may come to mind. Yes, teacher training at House of Yoga (HOY) includes all of those things—and they’re just the beginning.

Owner and teacher Jackie Dahlheimer, alongside Jessie Davies, manager and founding teacher, have an unwavering mission — and it’s not just showing students how to recite a yoga sequence at the front of a room. HOY’s training dives deep into what students uniquely have to offer as teachers by uncovering who they truly are. The real goal of the immersive experience: an empowered being, brand new.

“The training changed my life. To be immersed in community, connection, and love, all I can say is if you feel called to join HOY for teacher training, just do it. Just jump,” says Rebecca Dietz, a student of HOY’s recent 200-Hour Power Immersion Yoga Teacher Training.

Feel the call? Look for the next round of HOY’s 200-Hour Power Immersion in winter 2020.
