Sunday Seafood Style

SUNDAYS ARE FULL OF MOMENTS LIKE THESE:

family and friends gathering together, voices mingling in conversation and special dishes being shared at table. Those moments happen every Sunday at Rockfish Public House (RPH). Take your seats and leave the Sunday cooking to Executive Chef Abby Shelley and her team.

Select from among 24 draft beers on tap or wines by the glass or bottle. Let the Rockfish mixologists go to work crafting an RPH “Finessed Manhattan,” “Jaws Revenge” or the RPH signature fresh-squeezed orange or grapefruit crushes.

Like your oysters and clams freshly shucked? Have a penchant for poached and chilled blue crab claws and lobster tails? Maybe the tastes of seafood steamed and fried — clams, mussels, oysters and shrimp —  are what you crave.

A seafood lunch or dinner is all about forks and fingers, and Rockfish doesn’t disappoint guests with its bevy of fresh catches. Whether pan-seared, blackened, broiled, batter-dipped and fried, get your fresh Chesapeake Bay rockfish, Florida grouper or Massachusetts cod prepared just the way you want it.

Baltimoreans at heart will feel at home in downtown York with a Crab Cake Hon, a dish combining colossal jumbo lump blue crab in a rich imperial sauce and broiled until it’s golden brown. The Crab-Stuffed Lobster with its jumbo lump crab cake snuggled inside a split cold-water lobster tail needs little more than a drizzling of drawn butter to coax out the sweet flavors of the sea.

Younger Rockfish guests can indulge in some child-friendly grilled cheese, pasta or fish finger delights. Speaking of delights, Sprinkles Specialties of York puts a sweet ending to your meal with Smith Island Cake, key lime tarts and other spectacular dessert offerings.

Experience seafood at its best Sunday and five days a week at Rockfish Public House.
