Be Well. Do Well. Learn Well. Superheroes Supporting a Culture of Wellness
They may not scale tall buildings or wear capes, but they are positively impacting the overall quality of life for York Traditions Bank Associates and their families.
These superheroes are the Bank’s Wellness Committee members, led by Director of Human Resources Patti Martin, and Committee Co-Chairs: Personal Banking Delivery Specialist Melissa Moore and HR Generalist Elizabeth Blew. Together, the committee supports a culture of wellness through York Traditions Bank’s Wellness Program.
Focusing on the physical, educational and community aspects of wellness, the Wellness Program allows Associates to earn points while taking part in creative wellness activities throughout the year. The physical challenges are imaginatively designed, such as Strength and Agility Bingo. The group strives to bring attention to other important aspects of healthy living, with challenges such as Sleep Week, Declutter Week, and Mental Health Awareness Week. Monthly wellness newsletters and periodic cooking demonstrations are opportunities for continuous learning.
How does art inspire York Traditions Bank in its work to serve the community?
“Art comes in many forms. We feel the artistic approach of our Wellness Program helps to motivate our Associates to be the best versions of themselves, which allows them to offer their very best service to their customers and community.”
